Dr. Alexander Alperovich was born in Villnius, Lithuania. He graduated Medical School at Kaunas University School of Medicine in 1982. His post graduate education including Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiovascular Fellowship were both completed at Beth Israel Medical Center, affiliate of Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, NY in1995. Dr. Alperovich's fellowship in Interventional Cardiology was completed at University of Massachusetts Medical Center, Worchester, MA in 1996.

Dr. Alperovich has much interest in treatment of vein disorders. He obtained additional training in phlebology from one of the leading centers in the country. Dr Alperovich has been practicing phlebology for seven years now and has developed a successful practice here in Jackson, Tennessee. Dr. Alperovich is also a member of the American College of Phlebology.

Dr. Alperovich is board certified by American Board of Internal Medicine in the following specialties: Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Interventional Cardiology

Dr. Alperovich relocated from Orlando, Florida where he was Co-Founder and Managing Partner in his practice for 11 years.While practicing in Orlando, he was actively involved in various Medical Staff Leadership Positions including Chief of Medical Staff as well as Co-Director of the Cardiac Catherization Lab at Florida Hospital.

Dr. Alperovich remains actively involved in clinical research. He has participated in multiple drug and interventional studies which involves new medications, devices, as well as cardiovascular technologies. The results of these trials were published in major cardiovascular publications.

Dr. Alperovich has delivered lectures on various cardiovascular topics to both his colleagues as well as Residents where he served on the teaching staff at a local University.

Dr. Alperovich has extensive experience in complex Coronary Interventions, Interventional Peripheral Vascular Disease management including Ischemic Limb Salvage, and modern Interventional Treatment of Deep Vein Thrombosis. He also enjoys practicing General Cardiology which includes evaluation and treatment of various cardiovascular conditions. He performs evaluations and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, and when needed, implants Pacemakers and Defibrillators.
